Looking for inspiration for a delicious gluten-free dessert or breakfast? Poached pears with granola, creamy Greek yogurt, and a drizzle of honey. Healthy and filling.
🥣Ingredients:
2 pears
Granola
cinnamon
white wine
Greek yogurt
âť—Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 180 o C.
2. Peel the pears and slice each one in two lengthways.
3. Scoop out the tough center part with seeds and throw it away.
4. Place pears cut side facing up in an oven-proof dish.
5. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon.
6. Around the base of the pears pour in a glass of white wine.
7. Cover the dish with tin foil and place it in the center of the oven to poach for approximately 30 mins (less time if pears are very ripe).
8. When pears are cooked, remove the foil.
9. Put two tablespoons of granola (we used our Cashew almond and cinnamon flavored granola) on each pear half.
10. Place two pear halves on each serving dish and drizzle with a little honey and a heaped spoon of Greek yoghurt.
